YOUR HARVEST’S OFFERING – NOVEMBER 2022 NEWSLETTER

YOUR HARVEST’S OFFERING.

Text: Psalm 50:23 (NLT)

“Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me and to the blameless, I will show my salvation.” (NIV)

Introduction

Firstly, let’s look at what Harvest means.

According to the dictionary, “It is the process or period of gathering in crops.”

Harvest is viewed by many people in this way. As I see it, harvesting is not just for farmers alone. The harvest period is a crucial time for every career because everyone aspires to be productive and earn success in their chosen career.

Regardless of what you do for a living, you don’t earn your living by your intelligence, strength, or ability.

The ability to put them together requires the involvement of God.

In Psalm 50:9-12, the sufficiency of God’s providence over your life is enumerated here. There is nothing you own; so you should be grateful for what you have.

The end result of your project, the study, the profits you earn from your business, the contract, the connection, the journey, or the produce you grow on your farm, who gets the glory?

The highest currency that God recognizes in His Kingdom business is thanksgiving or a grateful heart.

“Rather than being critical of yourself and what you think you’re lacking, start celebrating yourself and all your good qualities. Remember what God has done in your life. Get in agreement with God and say, ‘Thank You, God,’ for who You made me be.” (Victoria Osteen, June 8, 2022)

God, our Father, deserves all the glory, adoration, and praise. Through the words He spoke, the universe was created. He knows the number of hairs on our heads and the names of every star. Each of us is deeply known by Him, and He cares about every single one of us.

We shall highlight points that would give you insight into what you need to do to offer your harvest’s offering to God.

• REFLECT ON WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM

• CAN YOU BE SUSTAINED BY YOUR STRENGTH?

1). Reflect On Where You’re Coming From

One of the major problems people have when it comes to giving thank offerings is their inability to reflect on where they began.

The opportunities that come their way are often viewed as a right, not a privilege, and some say that it is a natural phenomenon. Their positive thinking and right attitude toward nature cause them to believe they don’t have to give anyone thanks for all the good things that come their way.

In Luke 17: 11-19, only one of the ten lepers healed returned to glorify God with a heart of worship and gratitude, and he was the only one that received the final blessings from the Lord. This guy had a deeper understanding of his life, and saw healing as a privilege rather than a right.

Consider your life’s journey and see how you wouldn’t be where you are today without God’s grace.

2) Can You Be Sustained By your Strength?

One folly people display is making fun of themselves and holding that their intelligence, wisdom, bravery, knowledge, ability, strength, capability, discoveries, hard work, opportunities, and connections have helped them get to where they are today.

It is understandable why some people look down on others as if they are not smart enough. The only thing they can see are the results of their strengths, since they do not see God at the center of their blessings. It is impossible for such a person to appreciate God.

In Luke 12:11-21, Jesus Christ narrated a story about a foolish rich man who was overwhelmed by his possession.

The focus is on verses 20 and 21.

20: “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

21: This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Do you think you acquire things through your power and makings? Would you like to be like that foolish man? Do you honor God with your possessions?

As you have the opportunity, I want you to consider these questions and adjust yourself accordingly. Honor God with your harvest’s offering, which is a grateful heart, as you return all the glory to Him.

Conclusion

We are going to have a great gathering that includes everyone. This event is called the harvest of saints, where Jesus Christ is the Host. He will welcome everyone with excitement and with the statement “Welcome, you faithful servant.”

Hmm!

Would you like to be part of this joyous gathering? You can certainly attend, but you must offer your harvest offering to the Lord Jesus Christ, which is your salvation.

Giving your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most valuable offering you can make to God.

Finally, Psalm 50:23 says, “Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me and to the blameless, I will show my salvation.” (NIV)

By submitting your life to God with a grateful heart, you will receive a wonderful gift from God. The gift of salvation He prepares for you is eternal life, I encourage you not to miss this opportunity.

Note: If you are ready to give your life to Jesus Christ and you want to be discipled, you can contact us through the link in the website, and we shall follow up with you.

Remain blessed.

Let’s pray:

1). Appreciate God for His love towards you.

2). Thank God for His numerous blessings and cares for you.

3). Ask for God’s mercies over your life.

4). Pray that God would have His total way over your life.

5). Pray that God would be honored in your life. Amen.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS – OCTOBER 2022 NEWSLETTER

October, 2022 Newsletter

Topic: COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.

Text: Psalm 103:1-5

1. Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

2.  Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits,

3. who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

4. who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,

5. who satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles?

INTRODUCTION

Comparing yourself with others is a distraction and a thief of your growth. As a result, you may find yourself stuck in a rut or you may find yourself retrogressing rather than progressing.

It can also shift your focus away from what God has done for you: His goodness, gifts, grace, mercies, capabilities, abilities, and blessings.

Comparing yourself with others could be as a result of covetousness; not being satisfied with what God has given to you. This leads to inferiority complex.

Comparison will keep you from planning and organizing your life, and you will always see yourself as a failure, not a winner.

Since people cannot find reasons to praise God for their lives, they have allowed comparison to steal their joy and happiness.

As a unique person with colorful glory, you have greater potential than the other person you are looking at, because you are wired differently.

The background scripture states in Verse 2: “Do not forget His benefits.”

In this writing, we will highlight some points that will encourage you to count your blessings, and not compare them.

• BE THANKFUL

• BE JOYFUL

• DON’T BE AN INGRATE

1) Be Thankful

The key to being thankful is to develop a serious attitude of gratitude.

Thankful people do not wait for anyone to force them to appreciate God’s goodness in their lives. By being thankful, you will perceive yourself as an important person and a blessing to others.

Psalm 103:1 says, “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.” This passage describes how to cultivate a thankful heart.

You can practice a grateful heart without anyone forcing you to do so, and it will also protect you from comparison.

What has God done for your friends or neighbor that He has not done or cannot do for you?

Consider the love He has for you; the provision He has made; the safety He provides; the grace He has given you. Count them and name them one by one…

2)  Be Joyful

Joy comes from expressing gratitude in your heart.

Singing praise songs to God, dancing, waving, jumping, or screaming can all be used to express gratitude.

Psalm 100:1 says, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.” (NIV).

Joyful people have no dull moments around them. It shows in their facial expressions and attitude.

An individual who is joyful will find it difficult to be captured by comparison, since he would be a center of attraction.

Those who are joyful display the glory of God at every opportunity which is a painful aspect to Satan, because he does not want your life to reflect the glory of God.

In corporate and even private worship, many people struggle to open their mouths or to dance in praise of God.

Psalms 110:4 says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.”

God requires that you be joyful in His presence for your worship to be acceptable. You need to offer it to the Lord as a required sacrifice.

3) Don’t Be An Ingrate

To be an ingrate means you are not thankful and have no attitude of gratitude to the goodness of God in your life.

An ingrate is a complainer and a covetous person. When comparing blessings, he or she never counts God’s blessings.

People who are ingrate have myopic views of what God has in store for them.

Flow your thoughts with this passage of scripture if you don’t want to be an integrate; Psalm103: 4, “who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,

5. who satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles?”

What has God not done for you in those things listed above? It is God who has arranged your language, color, race, your current location, job, and career for a purpose, so you need to have a heart of gratitude.

Don’t be an ingrate.

Conclusion

Though things may seem difficult and cloudy to you, but whenever you face a difficulty, you can choose to view it as joy, rather than seeing it as a hardship.

The fact that God allows us to face trials gives us hope that He can use it to our advantage.

You can only overcome challenges arranged by Santan by relying on Jesus. It is important that you give your life to Jesus Christ so that you can keep your focus right, because He loves you and is ready to give you eternal life.

Are you going to accept His invitation today? You won’t regret it. It’s well with you.

Prayers:

Sing this Hymn and open your heart of gratitude to thank God.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS…

1. When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings; name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

[Chorus]

1. Count your blessings;

Name them one by one.

Count your blessings;

See what God hath done.

Count your blessings;

Name them one by one.

Count your many blessings;

See what God hath done.

2. Are you ever burdened with a load of care?

Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Count your many blessings; ev’ry doubt will fly,

And you will be singing as the days go by.

3. When you look at others with their lands and gold,

Think that Christ has promised you his wealth untold.

Count your many blessings; money cannot buy,

Your reward in heaven nor your home on high.

4. So amid the conflict, whether great or small,

Do not be discouraged; God is overall.

Count your many blessings; angels will attend,

Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

You are next in line for a miracle. Amen.

GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME – SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

ROPMI, SEPTEMBER 2022, NEWSLETTER

TOPIC: GOD IS ALWAYS ON TIME

Text: Isaiah 49:15-16, Psalm 100:3 (NIV)

15. “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast, and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
16. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.

Psalm 100:3
Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His, we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
INTRODUCTION
Satan uses man’s inability to stay with God for long to fulfill his purpose of diverting man’s attention from God.
Because Satan knows man’s great weakness, he uses his cunning and seducing devices to distract man. Adam and Eve lost the eternal enjoyment God provided for them in the garden of Eden because they fell into Satan’s trick (Genesis 3).
In Satan’s attempt to distract Jesus, he used the same strategy as recorded in Matthew 4:1-14.
The Lord has divinely arranged your life for the perfect time to accomplish what is meant to be accomplished. You cannot fast forward God’s plans and purposes for your life. His purpose will come to fruition just at the right time.
Victoria Ostten (2022) stated that, “God has an assignment for you that nobody else can fulfill. God needs you. He needs your gifts, your smile, your love, your passion. You are a part of His divine plan. You have something to offer that nobody else can offer.”
Our focus this month will be on what you need to do while waiting for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in your life.
• STAND ON GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE

• PUT YOUR HAND IN HIS HAND

• WAIT AND KEEP ON WAITING FOR THE APOINTED TIME
The above points are explained below:
1. STAND ON GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE
What is the purpose of God for your life? Without anyone’s help, you should be able to answer this question. If you do not understand God’s purpose for your life, it will be difficult for you to define your life and you may waste your time on what God has not designed for you.
Those who fail to understand God’s purpose for their lives live aimlessly.
Your life has a purpose that God cannot forget because everything about your life is perfectly timed.
Isaiah 49:15 says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
A man can forget, denied, or be limited in his capacity to fulfill a promise he has made for you, but your God cannot forget you, and you must stand firm in the purpose He has for you.
2. PUT YOUR HAND IN HIS HAND
Today, many people are looking for God’s hands; they don’t have an idea of where to find His hands. As a result, many people fall victim to fake prophets.
If you know God’s purpose for your life, His hand is not far from you.
How often do you read God’s Word or listen to Him speak to you through His Word? “Everything is possible when you obey His word.”
“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me” (Isaiah 49:16).
It is God’s Word that outlines everything about your life, but you must obey it by cooperating with Him. Exposing yourself to His Word will strengthen you and prepare you to wait for the right time for God’s purpose.
“It’s easy to allow an event or a circumstance in our lives to define us. But God has amazing things in store for us; we have to lift our eyes to see Him and what He is doing.” (Victoria Osteen, August 22, 2022).
3. WAIT AND KEEP ON WAITING FOR THE APPOINTED TIME
Waiting is not easy, but it is necessary.
To be certified for God’s purposeful time for your life, you must pass the board exam of waiting. It is God who knows who you are.
Rick Warren stated in his August 2022 Daily Devotional that, “He knows what you’re going through, why you’re going through it, and how you feel about it. He knows you better than you know yourself. He cares about you.
There is a specific destiny God has ordained for you, and He has arranged an appropriate time for you to fulfill it. If you haven’t seen it yet, I encourage you to keep waiting, He is working out something glorious, great, and valuable for you. He is never slack concerning His promises. He will complete it soon.
Conclusion:
You were created by God to enjoy eternal life with Him where there is no limit to enjoyment. This opportunity has been well timed so that you don’t miss it.
Remember, time waits for no one. So Jesus is calling you to accept His gift of salvation today. I beseech you to give your life to Him today; tomorrow may be too late.
Let’s Pray:
1. Lord, I thank You for Your plan and purpose for me.
2. My Father and Lord, I am sorry for trying to help my self when I should rely on Your help.
3. Lord, I ask for mercy, have mercy on me…
4. Deliver me, oh Lord, from every time waster assigned against my life.
5. Lord, grant me strength and grace to wait for Your right time for me.
6. I shall fulfill Your purpose for my life.
7. I shall be lifted above every distraction and obstacle. Amen.

John Aderogba.
